Indiana will open with Boston College transfer righty Julian Tonghini. Nebraska will counter with a junior righty of their own, Drew Christo.
Christo pitched two scoreless against Indiana on May 12th in Lincoln. He pitched 3.0 scoreless against Purdue in an elimination game Tuesday. He has a 4.91 ERA.

My guess is Ryan Kraft will get the ball for IU, but he was my guess for the morning, so that means little. The real issue for Indiana is that they have scored just two runs per game in three straight games against Nebraska pitching. Nebraska knows IU hitting tendencies and aims fill up the zone with breaking pitches. Hoosiers just hope Husker pitching will start missing the zone at some point and have to challenge the Hoosiers with fastballs.

Penn State advances to Sunday with a 7-6 win over Michigan. Indiana and Nebraska will play for the final slot in the title game at 6:33pm ET.

Penn State is up 7-5 in the top of the 10th inning. They are likely to eliminate Michigan. Once this one ends, I assume it will be 45-60 minutes before the Indiana/Nebraska nightcap gets started.
