Penn State is starting righty Frankie Sanchez. 19.1 innings pitched in 6 appearances with 4 starts. He has a solid 3.72 ERA and leads Penn State's staff with a 1.29 WHIP. He strikes out just under 20% of the batters he faces. He is coming off of a dominant performance against Northwestern, where he needed only 62 pitches to get through 6 innings, striking out only one. He was effective more recently in inducing soft contact.

Ty Rybarczyk had a shaky start a week ago at Maryland. Now with a full week's rest will see what the veteran righty can do against a potent left-handed heavy Penn State lineup. I would guess that Ethan Phillips is also expected to see significant action.
