Moffitt gives up an opposite field homer to the 9-hole hitter hitting .123 on the season. Moffitt did get a check swing strikeout, but still hasn't thrown his off-speed offering into the zone. This is a big reason why Moffitt has allowed 4 runs in just two innings.

Moffitt threw 58 pitches against Troy, earning the only Hoosiers win in the last five games. He's had four days of rest. Typical college starters go on six days rest. It will be interesting to see how pitching coach Dustin Glant and head coach Jeff Mercer handle Moffitt.

Jack Moffitt, who leads Indiana with a WHIP of 0.96, will get his first ever start for Indiana on the mound. Belmont will start Will Pryor making his fifth Friday start of the year with a WHIP of 1.18. Pryor has a 28.9% strikeout rate and an 8.9% walk rate.
