By the numbers, today's challenge for the Hoosiers gets just marginally easier. Grayson Stewart is a first team all-Sun Belt redshirt junior righty. He fills up the strike zone, with only a 5.4% walk rate on the season. He has a 6.61 ERA in 16.1 innings pitched. His WHIP is only 1.04 which I find to be a more predictive measure of performance especially this early in the season. The struggling Hoosier bats are going to have to be able to execute today by making good contact.
