Haller describes the zone as big from the umpire. While it’s worked well this inning, an unusually large zone is not ideal for the Hoosiers as their hitters have very good zone awareness. This was a factor IMO on Tuesday against PFW. D1’s Aaron Fitt said that Trackman graded yesterdays umpire very well.

Pitchers that could see action for Indiana today who have not seen action yet this weekend include: Ethan Phillips, Julian Tonghini, Jack Moffitt, and Grant Holderfield. Moffitt was throwing in the ninth yesterday and that was a big spot so it sounds like there is some trust there.
Ryan Kraft looked much better after two innings on Friday with only 21 pitches so he may be an option for an inning of work. Other pitchers from Friday who did well in 1 inning outings could come back including Jacob Vogel, Brandon Keyster, and Drew Buhr.

The best statistical relievers Arizona might deploy (based on who did not pitch against Alabama yesterday) include three guys with WHIPs below 1.2:
Eric Orloff, Kyler Heyne, and Trevor Long

As Cass shared in our latest Talking Hoosier Baseball episode, Cam Walty for Arizona is coming off a 5.1 IP relief effort last Sunday against San Diego. He has a 1.27 WHIP in 8.2 innings total. Anthony Susac has been there typical Sunday starter but he got roughed up by San Diego. It will be interesting to see who the Wildcats go to today.
